The tour operator was founded in 1961 by a young New Zealander who wanted to tour Europe with other youthful, budget conscious people. A North American office was established in 1982. Destinations now include the UK, Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, the Greek Islands, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, the US (including Hawaii), Canada.
