SITA World Travel was founded by Jack and Helen Dengler in 1933 and is one of North America's oldest tourist operators. At its inception, SITA became the first tour operator to offer package tours, including round-the-world tours with Pan Am. SITA was also the first tour operator to offer escorted tours to Africa. Over the years destinations have changes as travel trends evolved, and SITA currently specializes in developing deluxe tours to India, the Orient, Africa, South America and the South Pacific. Headquarted in Encino-Los Angles, California SITA also maintains offices in New York, Houston, and Chicago in the USA and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada. |
